    W.H.Y. Gallery is a fine art gallery specialising in contemporary art, showcasing hand-picked selections of artwork from artists and collectors.

     

    The gallery's endeavour is to promote contemporary art and foster cultural exchange through collaboration with artists and curators, in-depth research, publications and art education activities.

     

    With in-depth knowledge and analysis of art and the art market, W.H.Y. Gallery strives to showcase distinctive and exquisite artworks and memorable exhibitions for art lovers and collectors.  The gallery exhibits artwork of various media, including paintings, works on paper, sculptures, limited-edition lithographs, photography and digital art.

  • About the Founder

    Vanessa Wong has over 15 years of experiences in the art field including 9 years of experience working at Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery ; 2 years’ experience at Christie’s Auction as Art Advisor and Consultant Asia and over 3 years’ experiences in K11 Art Foundation as Senior Manager, Sponsorship, Partnership and Special Projects. Vanessa has extensive experiences in running art projects, publications, art events and art advisory. Passionate in writing about art and exhibitions, Vanessa has contributed to magazines such as Home Journal, Modern Home, Ming Pao Monthly.

     

    She is a Committee Member of Friends of Hong Kong Museum of Art from 2020- 2023. Previously, she was a Committee Member of the University of Hong Kong Museum Society 2008-2012 and 2018-2020.
     
    Vanessa holds a BA from UC Berkeley with double majors in Art History and Asian Studies and currently pursuing a joint MPA and EMBA at Tsinghua University, Beijing and City University, Hong Kong.
