Gérard Stricher was born in 1948 to a family of artists in Sarrebourg, Northern France. He began painting in the 1970s when he was an engineering student in Paris. Working as a highly regarded international manager after graduated, his career and travels led him to become a “World Citizen” and the resultant encounters with people, landscapes and cultures everywhere formed subconscious strata that would later surface in his paintings.
Gérard Stricher’s works are in many private and corporate collections including, Empire Bank in Springfield, Missouri, and the Pepsi-Cola Foundation of New York. He won that Dizart Editions competition in 2015 and being rewarded with a monograph.
